Lava Mobiles President, Sunil Raina, dropped a hint about their next release in a cryptic post, unveiling the name of their awaited device – the Lava Blaze Curve 5G. The name strongly suggests a standout feature: a curved edge screen, likely an OLED panel. This move wouldn’t be unprecedented for Lava, considering their previous use of a curved-edge OLED panel in the Lava Agni 2 5G camera.

Speaking of the Agni 2 5G, it boasted a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, priced at Rs 19,999 (~$240). However, the Blaze Curve 5G, expected to sport a curved-edge OLED screen, might be priced under Rs 15,000 (~$180).

Last month, Lava unveiled the Storm 5G, priced at Rs 13,499, featuring a 6.78-inch LCD FHD+ 120Hz screen, Dimensity 6080 chipset, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB storage, a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and impressive camera specs, confirmed to receive Android 14 and two years of security updates.

The Blaze Curve 5G‘s anticipated features spark excitement among tech enthusiasts, signaling Lava’s commitment to innovation and competitive pricing in the Indian smartphone market.
