What a time to buy smartphones! so many good phones are launching for Rs 20-25K! And there’s another amazing phone, the Infinix Zero 30! If you look at its hardware, software & features, when I heard it for the 1st time, I was shocked! And everything at Rs 21,999!
You know that Infinix phones are less in software & hardware, but this one has everything! If you want to buy a new phone for Rs 20000, as soon as you take it in your hand, it feels premium!
Infinix Zero 30 5G Inboxing
Infinix phones have a lot of stuff in the box. There’s nothing different in the Infinix Zero 30 box. There’s a lot of stuff. This is the case, you can look at the camera module, it’s big. Then you have documentation and a sim card tool. It also has a scratch guard as well. It’s a curved-screen phone, so it’s kind of soft.
There’s also a scratch guard. There’s a 68W charger with a big brick. And then you have a USB Type A to Type C charging cable. Let’s keep all these things aside & look at the
Infinix Zero 30 5G Design
Infinix Zero 30 phone thin! So many thin phones have been launched in the last few days. And this is another addition and finish, again, vegan leather. In fact, it comes in 2 colors, this green one is vegan leather and there’s another color, Golden R, which is with a glass back. This is vegan leather with a curve, it looks premium. It’s a big phone & it looks very different.
The camera module, looks like an industrial design. The in-hand feel is also very good. It looks slightly slippery, but it’s very nice. The weight balance is very good. It’s a big phone but in terms of weight, its weight is 183g
It’s neither too light nor too heavy and interestingly, it’s one of the slimmest phones. Even though it has a 5000mAh battery, it’s around 7.9mm thick. So again, it’s excellent with that 3D curved glass.
Infinix Zero 30 5G Ports & Buttons
There’s a SIM card tray at the bottom, a microphone, a USB Type C port, and a speaker grill. There’s a power on-off on the right & a volume rocker at the top. There’s a speaker grill at the top & a noise-canceling microphone on the left.
So yes, there are stereo speakers. If I talk about the SIM card tray, I think it’ll not have a dedicated one. Because the base variant comes with 256GB. So there’s a dual nano sim card slot & there’s no SD card slot.
It also comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. I mean in Rs 21,999, it’s a net effective price. But you’re getting Gorilla Glass 5.
Infinix Zero 30 5G Display
Infinix Zero 30 5G has a 6.78” 3D curved display. It’s an AMOLED display with a 144Hz fast refresh rate & 950Nits brightness and the bezels, they’re non-existent. There are bezels on the sides as it’s 3D curved. But if you look at the bottom & top, it doesn’t look like a mid-range phone.
If you look at it from the front, it looks like a Rs 30-40,000 phone. That’s why I said at the start that it’s probably the best time to buy a smartphone. Because prices are really coming down & spec wise, they’re very rich. As I said, the display is amazing
Infinix Zero 30 5G Specifications
It comes with Dimensity 8020 SoC. It’s a 6nm-based processor with an AnTuTu score of 7.10L. Which is very respectable in this price range. It comes with 2 variants, 8GB RAM & 256GB storage. The variant above it is 12GB RAM & 256GB storage. It’s an LPDDR4X RAM type, but it’s a UFS 3.1 storage type. So the read & write speeds are good.
It feels very snappy, that’s for sure and if you take the 12GB variant, it comes with 9GB virtual RAM. So it’s 21GB of RAM! It has a 5000mAh battery & it comes with 68W fast charging. You can charge it & the battery will get low, but it’s no problem. It charges from 0% to 50% in about 20-23 minutes. So fast charging is also there, so it’s very good.
If I talk about performance, You can play heavy games on the highest settings like COD Mobile. You can play PUBG on 90FPS & COD Mobile BGMI on 60FPS and yes, it has HDR. So you can call it as best gaming phone under 25000. So even the OS is good. It has its own 3rd party apps like Infinix, but it doesn’t have 3rd party bloatware.
That’s very surprising! And you get Android 14 & 2 years of security updates with Infinix Zero 30 5G, so 1 plus 2. And it has some interesting features. It doesn’t have a Google dialer, so you have to do a one-touch call recording. It has a peak-proof display, so there’s no peaking allowed. So that’s there, there’s a kids mode. So some interesting features are also there.
Infinix Zero 30 5G Multimedia
The display is good, and the video viewing experience is excellent. It has stereo speakers & supports Hi-Res audio. The quality is good, but the loudness is there. So the multimedia experience overall is very good.
The display is HDR, and you can watch HDR videos on YouTube. But there’s no HDR support on Netflix. There’s Widevine L1, so you can do HD streaming. Overall, this is a great phone for multimedia. There are 2-3 more things I want to talk about the display. It has 2160Hz PWM dimming. So that’s there and yes, it has a 10-bit display.
Infinix Zero 30 5G Camera
Again, it’s an Infinix phone with a mid-range price of Rs 20-22K. So according to that, I was looking at its camera & it surpassed my expectations. Seriously, because our expectations were low for the past few months.
But now again, we’re getting some good phones. Its camera is very good. The primary sensor is Samsung’s HM6 108MP sensor with OIS support. It’s a 13MP ultrawide camera with a 2MP depth sensor. So it’s a triple-camera setup. In selfies, you get Samsung’s JN1 sensor which is a 50MP autofocus sensor.
I was actually impressed with the camera. The color tones, skin tones, colors & sharpness are very good. Again, it’s much better than what I was expecting and definitely, it’s much better. And because of OIS, low-light photos are also good. But not just that, in videography, no one in this segment says that you can shoot front & back 4K 60FPS videos. Like I said at the start this phone has got literally everything.
It’s 108MP, you get 3x lossless zoom. So essentially, it crops the photo by zooming. But yes, you can have 3x zoom as well. Interestingly, even the 13MP ultrawide camera also gives you 4K 30FPS. So you can shoot ultrawide videos at 4K.
In terms of features, there are standard features like time-lapse, slow motion, 240FPS slow motion mode, Pro mode, portrait mode, filters, etc.
So all those things are there. So there are many questions, especially for those who do a lot of vlogging & use a front camera. In this price range, if you want a smartphone for vlogging, definitely you should consider this.
Infinix Zero 30 5G Sensors & Connectivity
All sensors are there. There’s an in-display fingerprint sensor, and face unlock, all good there.
In terms of connectivity, there’s everything. There’s support for 14 5G bands. There’s Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 & there’s NFC support. So there’s everything in terms of connectivity options.
Basically, you get all the connectivity options in a Rs 30-40K phone for 20000-22000. So very good there.
Infinix Zero 30 5G Other Features
If I talk about the small features, there’s IP53 certification. There’s no notification light but there are dual LEDs in the selfie. So if you’re taking portraits in the dark, you’ll benefit from it. So that’s there. There’s FM radio, SAR value within limits. And yes, this is vegan leather & the other color variant comes in a glass pack.
Infinix has packed everything in this phone. Just think, if you buy a 12GB variant with virtual RAM, you get 21GB RAM. The software optimization also plays a very important role.
In this price range, a lot of phones have been launched. And there’s such a competition, every phone is better than the other. Best phones Under Rs 25000, it’ll definitely be in the top 5.
