Realme 11 Pro Plus is here & the Realme number series was launched. I used to be a fan of Realme phones because they used to give the best value for money smartphones and the number series used to be compared with the Redmi Note series.
Both these series used to stand out. We used to say that the Note series or Realme number series are better.
Realme 11 Pro Plus Box Contents
It has a black yellow box, black lettering, there’s Dare to Leap, a case, documentation, a sim card tool & a nice case.
The camera module is going to be huge. There’s a SIM card tool & documentation. look at this charger! It has huge! It’s a USB Type-A charger with 100W charging. It’s a 100W adapter. And then you have a USB Type A to Type C charging cable.
Realme 11 Pro Plus Design
It has a curved screen & a scratch guard. it offers a beautiful design. If I talk about the camera module, the overall leather finish, & the straight line, this phone looks beautiful! It’s definitely premium-looking.
It looks like an expensive phone when you hold it in your hand. People will look at it when you carry it. There’s another color in it, with a similar finish. But that’s green & this is beige. But I think beige looks really nice. And the in-hand feel is amazing! You really feel nice holding this phone. If I talk about the weight, it should be closer to 200g.
It’s around 198-199g. Alright, It’s 191g. It doesn’t feel that heavy for sure. It has a scratch guard. Well built, the frame is plastic.
Realme 11 Pro Plus Ports & Buttons
Talking about the ports & buttons. There’s a speaker grill at the bottom, it’s a USB Type C. Then you have a sim card tray & a microphone.
There’s nothing on the left side. There’s a speaker grill at the top & a noise-canceling microphone. On the right, there’s a volume rocker button and then you have a power on-off button. And no, there’s no FPS on the power button. So it’s an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Realme 11 Pro Plus Display
Talking about the display. The phone looks good from the outside, but the experience at the start & with the ads is not great.
The display is good, but not very different. If I compare it with the Realme 10 Pro plus, which was launched just 6 months ago, there’s not much difference. It’s a 6.67” FHD+, 120Hz OLED display, 950 Nits brightness. The only difference is that it had 800 Nits, but this had 950 Nits. You won’t be able to make out that difference.
So the display remains the same as compared to the Realme 10 Pro+. The bezels are very thin, nearly non-existent on the sides. Even the chin & upper bezels are very thin. The screen-to-body ratio is 93% so the display is excellent.
Realme 11 Pro Plus Specification
Specifications, there’s not much difference. It’s a re-named & rebadged processor, 7050 Density. There’s not much difference between Dimensity 1080 & 7050, there’s only a USB 3.0. There’s absolutely no difference in terms of performance. There’s only a difference that it has UFS 3.1, there’s no other difference. In terms of performance, it’s exactly the same.
Antutu scores & Dimensity 1080 scores are the same. There’s no difference. Antutu scores are around 5.5L which is decent. There are 2 variants, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage & 12GB 256GB variant. There’s UFS 3.1 storage type, LPDDR4X RAM type & up to 12GB virtual RAM support. It has a 5000mAh battery & 100W fast charging. So that’s good, compared to the 10 Pro+, it’s increased by 100% in about 26-27 minutes from 0-100.
Realme 11 Pro Plus Camera
The camera is a big thing as it’s highlighted a lot. The primary sensor is a 200MP sensor in the Pro+. But if you buy the Pro, it has a 100MP sensor. There’s a triple camera setup at the back, 200MP supports OIS, 8MP has an ultrawide & 2MP has a macro.
And there’s a 32MP selfie sensor at the front. The photos come out quite good like the Realme phones have good dynamic range & sharp photos.
I think the camera is decent, especially with the 200MP OIS. But don’t go for megapixels, it’s the quality of the photos that matter more. Video graphics are 4K 30FPS in rare, but you get 1080p in the front. Camera apps have a street photography mode, which is a proper mode for taking photos in the streets.
It has auto zoom, which automatically reframes the photos the best way you can click a picture of that subject and there’s a benefit of having 200MP, you get 4X lossless zoom when you crop the photo. That’s all for the features. The camera has a decent setup.
Realme 11 Pro Plus Performance
The 7050 is a decent performer. If you play BGMI on HDR settings, you get 40FPS. If you play games on the lowest settings, you get 60FPS gameplay The Dimensity 1080 & 7050 are good chipsets for performance. The score in throttling is 83% which is very good. So you can play long sessions.
Connectivity – It has Wi-Fi 6, 5G, 9 bands support, and the best 5g phone under 30000, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi calling, and Bluetooth 5.3.
Realme 11 Pro Plus Sensors & Multimedia
It has all sensors, an in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock & they work quite well.
Multimedia– It has HDR10+, OLED display, colors look really nice, 950 nits brightness. So you can watch videos outside & it’ll be fun. It has Widevine L1 support so it’s very nice on Netflix and yes, it supports HDR videos. It has stereo speakers which are loud & the quality is good. For multimedia, this is a very nice phone.
Realme 11 Pro Plus other features
Talking about other small features, it doesn’t have SAR value, WLNL, IP rating, or FM radio. So all those things are not there. Finally, I think this is a standout looker.
It looks really good & it’s one of the best I’ve seen. But at the same time, OS kills it. And they haven’t told us about updates but according to us, you’ll get 2 years of major updates & 3 years of security updates. But the recommendations & ads just kill that experience. And remember, especially in 2023, hardware has become commoditized.
So in this price range, everyone has similar hardware specs. The standout is the software experience & that’s where this really fails big time. If you buy the Moto Edge 40 at this price range, they give you a very clean UI experience and there are many other things too like wireless charging, IP rating, eSIM support, and the display is really nice.
So I’d say, in this price range, especially now, there are many other good phones. But if you’re a Realme fanatic, you can look at it. But please remember that software experience.
