Criteria – Best Phones Under 40000
Minimum criteria like Dimensity 8200 mean a chipset with at least 750K Antutu. There should be a 120Hz AMOLED screen, 5G, fast charging & minimum 8GB RAM & 128GB storage. Minimum! And nowadays, OS updates have become very important. There should be 2GB RAM & 3GB storage.
Let’s not waste too much time, let’s talk about the 5th phone! And I’m surprised that this phone has always been on the list of phones under 40000 in 1.5 years.
5.Samsung Galaxy S21 FE
Yes, sometimes it was in the 3rd place & now it’s in the 5th place. I’m talking about the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. It’s an excellent value-for-money phone! If you look at the big sales, you’ll get it under Rs 30K. But its price for 8GB & 128GB is around Rs 35K. And even at that price, it’s a good phone as it has a 6.4” FHD AMOLED screen. You get 4 major updates under 4 plus 5 years. which makes is best phones under 40000.
It has a 12MP x 12MP x 8MP triple camera setup with OIS in the primary sensor. And the Samsung S21 FE cameras are really good. The S21 FE is coming in a new form with a new chipset, but it’s expensive. But even with the S21 FE, it’s very good. It has IP68 & wireless charging.
4. Vivo V27 Pro
4th phone. If the camera is important to you, then you should look at the Vivo V27 Pro. It has a Dimensity 8200 SoC, a 6.67” FHD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 4600mAh battery & 66W charging.
But the highlight is the camera, especially the selfie camera. You get a 50MP selfie camera & a 50MP OIS camera. it’s an excellent camera, especially for selfies. If you want to vlog, then you’ll definitely be able to do it as you get a 4K selfie camera. The Funtouch OS has 2 years of major updates & 3 years of security updates.
The Funtouch OS is subjective, who likes it & who doesn’t, that depends on you, and the 37,999 for 8GB RAM, 128GB RAM, 39,999 for 8GB RAM, and 256GB RAM variants both are best phones under 40000. It’s definitely at no. 4.
3. OnePlus Nord 3
It’s the 1st time that 2 OnePlus phones are coming under Rs 40K in our list. At no. 3, we have the OnePlus Nord 3 which has just been launched. In fact, the distance between the Nord & the flagship series is very low.
Because Nord nearly offers everything. It has a 6.74” FHD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3 years of major updates & 4 years of security updates. And it has a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC which gives you an AnTuTu score above 1M which is excellent! The camera, if you compare it with the OnePlus 11R, it’s alright.
Sometimes it’s good & sometimes it’s not. It has a 50MP camera with 8MP & 2MP. If the camera isn’t important to you & you want a OnePlus phone, then you can definitely look at the OnePlus Nord 3. It’s gone closer to the flagship now. And if you multitask a lot, then you get a 16GB variant under Rs 40K in the 37,999 variant. So if you look at everything, then it’s definitely at no. 3.
2. OnePlus 11R
At no. 2 is its big brother, the OnePlus 11R. The camera setup is the same in the Nord 3 & the OnePlus 11R. But remember, it has 8MP plus Gen 1. And its ISP is different. So even though the camera setup is the same, because of the different chipsets, its camera is much better than the Nord 3.
Again, it has OxygenOS, 4 years of major updates, 5 years of security updates, 8MP plus Gen 1, 5,000mAh battery, 50MP plus 8MP plus 2MP & 16MP front camera. If you look at everything, then at Rs 39,999 for the OnePlus 8, it’s definitely at no. 2. But no one comes close to the OnePlus 11R.
1. iQOO Neo 7 Pro
The iQOO Neo 7 Pro. It looks good, but it has a big display with 6.78” FHD+, AMOLED, 120Hz, 10-bit display. So it’s an excellent flat big display. It has an 8-plus Gen 1 processor with 1.3M AnTuTu scores. It’s a dual chipset with 8MP plus Gen 1. It’s a dedicated chipset that helps you in gaming.
It has 4D vibration. For gaming, this is one of the best, in fact not one of the best, the best phone for gaming. But let me tell you why I’m giving it in 1st place. There are 2 things, 1st is the price & camera. I never expected that iQoo phones can give such a good camera. It has a 50MP Samsung GN5 OIS sensor, which is available in flagship phones.
It has 8MP Ultra Wide, 2MP, and 16MP front camera. We’ve tested it for the past few days & I’m impressed with the performance of the camera. We compared it with the Nothing phones which are priced at Rs 45-50K. And there also, it really performs very well. It has a 120W battery with a 5000mAh capacity. It has 120W charging.
So it’s good in gaming, camera, battery, performance, etc. And definitely call it an all-rounder phone. Not only performance-focused, but it’s also an all-rounder phone. And all this, you’re getting for Rs 33,999. Definitely, in my list, iQOO Neo 7 Pro comes in 1st place.
