The new rumored Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will use the latest 5X telephoto Zoom by replacing the 3x optical Zoom. Samsung uses the 10MP telephoto 3X optical Zoom on the Samsung S21 Ultra, Samsung S22 Ultra, and the Samsung S23 Ultra.
Samsung S24 Ultra Rumored
According to the rumored news, Samsung only replaced 3x Optical zoom with 5x telephoto zoom in the camera setup. The left of all camera setups will be the same as the Samsung S23 Ultra, which shows a minor improvement in the camera setup of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra than the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Samsung still uses the same combination of dual telephoto camera setup as we see in the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, but there would be a difference from 3x to 10X telephoto Zoom. Samsung is finding the best continuous zoom lens for telephoto cameras in future S series phones, but it is in the exploring stage.
In-camera configuration: According to the rumored news, in place of a 10MP sensor, Samsung plans to use the 12MP telephoto with 5x telephoto Zoom. Same as Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra periscope sensor. There is also a possibility to use a 48MP Sensor.
There are news or rumors that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 and Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus will feature a 200MP wide primary sensor, but it is just a rumor. The news may also see the 200MP wide sensor in the coming year with non-ultra models.
The Samsung S24 Ultra will feature a Quad camera model with a 200MP primary main camera, a 10MP periscope camera with 10X telephoto zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide camera with minor changes.
