Yes, I didn’t think I would recommend it. But on the 5th number comes the Tecno POVA 5G. It was launched 9 months back but it is still on the list. And one thing, this might even be the number 1.

If you are looking for gaming under ₹15,000 this is the phone. Should I tell you? It has a Dimensity 900 processor. No other processor is as fast as this one.

The AnTuTu score is near 5 lahks. Which is really good. You get 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage and RAM type is LPDDR5 and the storage type is UFS 3.1.

Just think that this is what you are getting under ₹15,000 for performance. Now, why is it on number 5 when the processor is so good?

Due to the experience, we give overall importance to the experience. And I think Tecno gets beaten on its OS. They have HiOS and you get Android 11 out-of-the-box. I mean it’s not 12, not 13, it’s 11.

Like I said before, we look at everything and then we recommend it. It has a 6000mAh battery and 18W charging.

The primary camera is 50MP and the others are 2MP and AI but leave them. But the camera is okay. It’s not that great. So, if performance is important to you & you need a big battery, then look at this phone.

The software experience is not so good. That’s why it’s on number 5th. By the way, some phones are above ₹15,500 and some are on offer, too.

4. Infinix Hot 20 5G

on number 4 comes, the Infinix Hot 20 5G phone. Yes, it has a Dimensity 810 processor. There are 12 5G bands, so it’s good. 

The screen is 6.82” 120Hz fast refresh rate and IPS LCD with a 5000mAh battery. best screen smartphone under 15000. Infinix and Tecno don’t have a very good OS experience. Otherwise, they come up with good hardware specifications. Not only that, they don’t tell about updates in the software.

So, that is a downside. Other than that, for specifications, they are really good. Yes, you get 6GB RAM and 128 GB storage for ₹13,500. I think, for the hardware, it is definitely value-for-money but not for the software.

But overall, I’ll say Infinix is slightly better than Tecno. we say that because they launch many good phones with good specifications. And Infinix Hot 20 5G is no different. You get it for ₹13,500. So, definitely on my list, it is number 4.

 

3. POCO M4 Pro 5G

The phones still now that I told you about were 6GB RAM 128 GB storage but this is 8GB RAM 128 GB storage. POCO M4 Pro 5G. Yes, it has 90 Hz, not 120 Hz, and an IPS LCD FHD screen.

But you get 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. And you get a Dimensity 810 processor with 7 bands for 5G. So, that is good. 

It has a 5000mAh battery and 33W charging. So, everything is good. But do you know why it is number 3? Because its camera is also good. 50MP + 8MP and it does not have that 2MP and AI lens. 50MP + 8MP and on the front, there is a 16MP camera.

So, this is good even on the matter of the camera. It’s good for multitasking, too. And you get 8GB RAM.

So overall for ₹14,999, this is definitely number 3.

2. iQOO Z6 Lite 5G

The phone on number 2 has a little thing which I didn’t like but otherwise, it is very good. iQOO Z6 Lite 5G. Yes, do you know what is in this?

The processor is 4 Gen 1 which is very power efficient and it comes near the Snapdragon 695 processor despite being 4 Gen 1.

It is an excellent processor. Just one thing, there are only 2 5G bands: n77 & n78. So n78 supports Jio as well as Airtel. You will get the speed but for coverage, there should have been n28 which is not there. 

That’s the only small thing. But other than that, the battery is 5000mAh and you get Android 12 out-of-the-box. You will get the updates as well as Android 13.

There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and the primary sensor is 50MP. Overall, this is good. The screen is 6.58” FHD+ 120 Hz. Overall, the phone is also good and we have tested it, too. This is definitely number 2.

Instead of 2, there should’ve been 3 bands with the n28, then it would have been a complete phone. Still, with everything else you get it at ₹15,499, and with offers you might get it at ₹13k-14k. For that price, this one is definitely number 2.

I know you might have a question in mind that the phones at number 3 & 4 had good specifications.

But it is not just about the specifications. It is about the overall experience.

1. Moto G62 5G

Finally, which is the number 1 phone? it’s Moto G62 5G. In 2022, Motorola launched very good phones.

There is a reason why. One, there is a clean UI experience which I give very much importance to. And after that, the processor, performance & camera, improved in every manner.

Now talking Moto G62 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. It supports 12 5G bands. You get 6GB RAM 128GB storage and 20W charging & 5000mAh battery. 

But the most important thing is the My UX. You get a clean Android experience. Which is optimized and due to that the battery lasts longer.

Its display is good too. It’s a 6.55” 120Hz FHD display. But overall, if you look at everything, this one is good. But the camera, they have improved quite a lot. It’s an ultrawide camera of 50MP + 8MP + 2MP and in the front, it’s 16MP.

So, in camera, performance, battery charging, and experience with software and hardware. It’s good at everything.

This definitely makes number 1 in our list of smartphones under ₹15,000.
